Two Guys, Two Dogs, Four Wheels – 2024

Coming from a family of caravanners and growing up touring the UK with parents, this naturally led to us owning our first caravan. We started our touring with a 2009 Sprite Alpine 2 – a small two berth ‘van that enabled our confidence in towing and touring to grow. We later upgraded this to a larger 2019 Swift Fairway 580.

However, we both had childhood dreams of owning a motorhome. So, in May 2021, after lots of research and a blessed recent opportunity, we took the plunge and purchased our first motorhome from Grantham’s – our new to us 2019 Bailey Autograph 75-2. A strong secondhand market and a super deal on a dealer demonstrator from Brownhills in June 2022 meant that we could upgrade to the next chapter of our travels and the purchase of a new AutoTrail Tracker LB. In April 2024 we swapped out to a new Swift Escape 694 from Don Amott Leisure Kingdom which would give us a garage and a bigger payload. Those requirements remained despite the Swift not being our forever motorhome.

Throughout out motorhome adventure we never imagined we would be in a position to have our dream motorhome, an Adria. But a chance opportunity in early 2025 and fantastic customer service from TMD Motorhomes meant this could come true and so we are now the proud owners of an Adria Coral Supreme 670DC. And so let our motorhome adventures continue.
